ABOUT THE EVENT
Omarys C. Vasquez, AIA, NOMA, is currently the first person of color to be appointed as Connecticut State Building Inspector. She is a is first-generation American and a licensed architect in Connecticut with over 16 years of professional experience. Born of immigrant parents, she was raised for most of her life in public housing in New York City. Attributable to her humble beginnings, she brings motivation, passion, and empathy in everything that she touches and with all whom she collaborates with.
