May PRESIDENT'S LETTER

Dear NOMAct Community,

Spring is in full bloom, and so is the energy in our NOMAct community. As the days grow longer and the sun shines brighter, we’re thrilled to fill our calendar with meaningful moments that connect, uplift, and inspire. From engaging events to heartfelt conversations, this season is all about deepening our bonds and growing together.

Our weekly ARE meetups to support and strengthen our emerging professional journeys, offering a consistent space to connect, learn, and grow together. Whether you’re prepping for exams or just want to join the conversation, these sessions are a great way to plug in.

​

Mark your calendars for one of our favorite traditions, the Annual Spring Hike on May 17! It’s the perfect way to come together, unwind in nature, and recharge in the best company, each other. Then on June 26th, join us for our 2nd Quarter Meet & Greet at Illuminate Lighting in South Windsor. It’s always inspiring to see familiar and new faces alike, and this venue promises a vibrant backdrop for conversation and connection.

This season, I’m also honored to spotlight someone whose impact on NOMAct has been truly transformative Brigid Abraham, our incredible Communications Chair.
Brigid is not only a licensed architect, mother of two, and Design for Freedom Project Manager at Grace Farms, she’s a passionate changemaker working to eliminate forced labor in building material supply chains. Her leadership launched our website and Intersections newsletter, dramatically reshaping how we share our mission and connect as a community.

Brigid catapulted NOMAct to new heights with the launch of our website and Intersection newsletter, transforming how we connect with one another and share our mission. We truly wouldn’t be where we are today without her talent, vision, and dedication. We are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of the NOMAct community.

Brigid, thank you for the vision, heart, and dedication you bring to everything you do. Your contributions have elevated NOMAct in ways that will ripple forward for years to come.
