ABOUT THE EVENT
Step away from the drafting table and join NOMAct for an afternoon on the trail as the fall color peaks in central Connecticut.
We’ll hike the loop around Millers Pond, a quiet, spring-fed pond of about 33 acres tucked into the hills on the Durham and Haddam line.
Expect wooded trails through mixed hardwood forest, rock ledges reaching out over the water, and plenty of spots to stop, talk, and take it all in. The route is beginner friendly, with options to extend into neighboring Cockaponset State Forest for anyone who wants more miles.
Come for the foliage, stay for the conversation. Friends and family are welcome!
What to bring: sturdy shoes, layers, water, and a snack.
