ABOUT THE EVENT
We Culture's goal is to counterblance individualism by helping our communities and organizations transform a culture focused on "Me" to one that is centered on "We."
This 2-hour DEI Workshop will promote Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion principles, understanding bias and microaggression, bias interrupters and residual effects on personnel. The conversation will center around Intention vs. Impact - how to address and maintain a culture of development and growth at the office.
About the Speakers:
Chavon Campbell, MBA brings a wealth of management knowledge with over 10 years of experience managing teams in academic, healthcare, religious and non-profit spaces.
He has had the honor of being the keynote speaker for several events and conferences. He has served as a co-leader the Regional DEI Council and a co-facilitator for DEI Anti-Racism Training for Trinity Health of New England. He has served on the committee for developing university-wide DEI surveys and lecture series for the University of Hartford. He has also developed DEI courses for the University of Hartford, both in the Barney Business School and University Interdisciplinary Studies. Chavon has been an Adjunct Professor of Business Management for the University of Hartford for over 5 years teaching a variety of topics including Leadership, Managing Across Cultures, Management and Organizational Behavior, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workforce and Technical Skills for Business.
Mimo Campbell, LMFT is a Consultant, and Training Facilitator at We Culture. Mimo brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience with weaving in social physiology into leadership roles. Mimo is creating private practice focusing on how authority impacts work and family dynamics. She has been a keynote speaker and a panelist for events focusing on mental health and women leadership. She is currently an Adjunct professor teaching Psychology courses at the University of Hartford. Mimo has thousands of hours with one-on-one coaching, mentoring, and training session.
