Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
Demonstrated commitment to NOMA's mission and values
Leadership potential and community engagement
Professional or academic development goals
Quality and thoughtfulness of the personal statement
Potential impact of conference participation on the applicant and the broader NOMAct community
Grant Conditions
To ensure recipients fully benefit from this opportunity and contribute to the visibility of NOMAct, grant recipients must agree to the following requirements:
Conference Participation
Commit to active participation throughout the NOMA National Conference
Attend conference programming, networking opportunities, and NOMAct-related events whenever possible
Documentation of Experience
Submit the following within three weeks of the conference:
Post-Conference Engagement
Provide a short written reflection (250–500 words) summarizing key takeaways and lessons learned
Participate in a NOMAct event, presentation, social media feature, or member spotlight to share your conference experience with the local chapter community
Promotion and Communications
By accepting the grant, recipients grant NOMAct permission to use submitted photos, videos, reflections, and testimonials for chapter communications, marketing, website content, newsletters, annual reports, and social media platforms.
NOMAct may feature recipients and their affiliated firms, schools, or organizations in conference-related communications and promotional materials.
